ECMC Secretariat

The ECMC Secretariat supports the Network in a number of ways:

  1. Organising regular national meetings address the challenges and identify the opportunities in experimental cancer medicine
  2. Running training and workshop events through the Network Groups to provide staff at ECMCs with the knowledge and skills, and to support the sharing of best practice between Centres
  3. Managing the governance of the Network (through the ECMC Steering Committee) and the review process for ECMCs
  4. Engaging with industry and has increasing consumer involvement across the Network
  5. Working with CancerHelp UK to make available information on clinical trials being undertaken by the Network
  6. Enhancing communication of Network activities and achievements through this website, newsletter and media coverage

The Secretariat is based in Cancer Research UK and supported by the National Institute for Health Research. Roles and contact details of the team.
