A Biobanking and Bioinformatics training day, organised by the University of Liverpool in association with the ECMC Quality Assurance and Translational Science Network Group is being held on 15 June 2012 in Liverpool.
A wonderful opportunity for members of the public to increase their knowledge of developments in cancer research and treatments led by local researchers at University College London and the University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The second ECMC Annual Network meeting was held at the Wellcome Collection in London on 24 May 2011. The meeting was attended by over 170 delegates and provided an excellent opportunity for networking.
The first full day of the meeting will investigate the biological aspects of radiotherapy targets. The final day, which is jointly sponsored by ECMC and CTRad, will focus on the development of drug-radiation combinations in early phase clinical trials, optimising their design and potential application.
Cambridge ECMC hosted an open day at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Research Institute for the public, patients, sixth-form students, nurses, researchers and doctors.
