ECMC Database and Data Collection Meeting

The Database and Data Collection meeting gave ECMC Operational Network Group members from across the Network the opportunity to discuss the reporting of ECMC trial data and share experiences of using a variety of data management solutions.
The meeting was chaired by the lead member of the Operational Steering Committee, Marie-Claire Rickard (Barts ECMC), with presentations from both network group members and the ECMC Secretariat.
The morning session, led by the ECMC Secretariat, presented the latest ECMC trial portfolio analysis, highlighting key progress and trends. Opportunities to improve trial reporting were considered in Centre-wide breakout groups, which generated enthusiastic discussions.
Database software demonstrations followed, providing delegates with an informative start to the afternoon session. Moving towards a streamlined process of clinical data management and its associated regulatory requirements were also topics covered. The meeting also provided a good opportunity to feedback on the Operational Group’s key successes, areas to address in the future and benefits of being part of the wider ECMC Network.
