ECMC Imaging Workshop - Measurement of Tumour Vascular Support in Early Phase Clinical trials

The ECMC Imaging Workshop ‘Measurement of Tumour Vascular Support in Early Phase Clinical trials’ took place at the Royal College of Physicians, London on 13th-14th May 2010. The aim was to develop guidelines and standards to measure tumour vasculature in clinical trials using non-invasive imaging. The meeting was attended by experts in the field from ECMCs and across Europe and North America, to facilitate international adoption of the guidelines with the wider imaging community. The main outcomes of which, will form the basis of a scientific article, to be published in an international peer-reviewed journal. An ECMC workshop at the NCRI Conference in Liverpool in early November will also present the outputs from the meeting to a broader cancer research audience.
