Patients & Public

The Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) Network has been created to bring together scientists, doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff to develop new cancer treatments and tests that will benefit patients in the future. Each ECMC values and supports the vital role that the patients and public play in the development of new cancer treatments.
Research studies gain a wealth of information from the diversity of experience of patients and those affected by cancer. Both patients and the public play a vital part in the research process and in getting new treatments into practice.
