ECMC network - new adult centre preliminary applications open

Preliminary applications are invited for new sites to join the adult ECMC network. Please note that existing ECMCs do not need to submit a preliminary application. ECMC awards provide infrastructure funding to support experimental cancer medicine activity in sites across the UK. Bids must be submitted as a joint applications from at least one NHS Trust/Health Board organisation and one university partner.

 

ECMCs should demonstrate the ability to develop innovative treatments, clinical biomarkers and/or devices through in-house translational research, as well as capacity to deliver early phase trials to the highest quality with demonstrable impact in the field. ECMCs must support both academic and commercially sponsored early phase cancer studies.

 

Applications for ECMC funding are managed by Cancer Research UK and further information can be found on their website. The deadline for outline applications is 5 January 2022.
