Proposal guidance

The NCRI are pleased to announce the NCRI Research Groups' Proposal Guidance meeting series taking place virtually in February 2022. NCRI Proposal Guidance meetings offer investigators the opportunity to submit their study proposals for review by a bespoke panel of experts and receive detailed written feedback to assist them with the development of their study. You can read more details about these Proposal Guidance meetings by visiting the NCRI website.

The Groups currently accepting proposals are:

  • Bladder & Renal
  • Brain
  • Breast
  • Head & Neck
  • Living with and Beyond Cancer (LWBC)
  • Lung
  • Prostate
  • Sarcoma
  • Screening Prevention and Early Detection (SPED)
  • Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) & Germ Cell Tumour (GCT)

NCRI Networks

The NCRI recently launched the new NCRI Networks to actively engage with the wider cancer research community in any given area, and therefore become more inclusive and ultimately improve outcomes for people affected by cancer. The Networks are a central hub in which people working within the cancer research field can become involved in the NCRI Research Groups and stay updated on the progress of the Groups.

Please do notify your colleagues of this opportunity, and if you are interested in sitting on a Proposal Guidance panel, please ensure you are signed up to the NCRI Networks in order to be eligible.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Proposal Guidance Team at proposal.guidance@ncri.org.uk.
