Review: Celebration of Cancer Nursing Event, Oxford

The Oxford ECMC in collaboration with the Cancer Research UK Oxford Centre hosted a 'Celebration of Cancer Nursing Event at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust" on World Cancer day.

Danny Kelly, President of the European Oncology Nursing Society was the key note speaker. The event, which was attended by 105 delegates, was a huge success. Evaluations from the attendees said that they would all attend the event again, as it was an inspiring boost and great opportunity to network – one attendee commented:

“It was such great opportunity to hear about the diversity of roles that exists within one area of nursing practice and an inspiration to hear how nurses are pushing boundaries to improve our patients experiences. More please!”
