The aim of this group is to bring together, and help develop, junior investigators across all disciplines of translational research within the ECMCs.
Membership is aimed at any early career cancer researchers committed to becoming independent investigators, such clinical colleagues wishing to specialise in a cancer-relevant field and from final year of PhD onwards for non-clinical colleagues.
The Network Group aims to support junior investigators up to the point of completing their first programme or project grant. Members will be invited to join the Junior Investigators Alumni thereafter to support or mentor newer members.
The Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre initiative is jointly funded by Cancer Research UK, the National Institute for Health Research in England and the Departments of Health for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
