Workshop on Methods in Clinical Cancer Research
This workshop is offered by EORTC, ESMO and AACR. It’s an annual week-long residential course designed to educate and train early-career clinical investigators in the best practices of clinical trial design. The workshop provides access to experienced clinical investigators from different institutions and countries with expertise across all areas of clinical research.
Clinical Research Training in Haematology
This training is offered by the European Hematology Association. It provides early-career researchers with a nine-month training and mentoring experience.
Translational Research Training in Haematology
This programme is offered by the European Hematology Association and American Society for Hematology. It provides early-career researchers with a year-long training and mentoring experience designed to help researchers build a successful career in hematologic translational research.
The Institute for Cancer Research’s Pathway to Independence course
This programme aims to help future scientific research leaders prepare for the aspects of team leader roles that can be most challenging. This includes developing a sustainable research strategy, obtaining funding and managing teams. It’s offered every other year and designed for postdocs or equivalent who are seeking to move into an independent academic role in the next 6–18 months.
Association of Cancer Physicians teaching webinars
The Association of Cancer Physicians is a specialty association for medical oncologists. They hold a series of monthly teaching webinars which are recorded and are available to their members following the event.
