Paediatric network
Each centre brings together clinicians and translational scientists to run early-phase clinical trials for children and young people affected by cancer.
Paediatric centres
Our 12 paediatric centres function as a single virtual centre to improve patient recruitment and expand geographical access to novel anticancer agents.
The foundation of each centre is a partnership between local NHS Trusts and the university where the centre is based. They are also closely integrated with wider clinical research systems across all four countries of the UK.
Five of the centres are designated as first-in-child centres by the Innovative Therapies for Children with Cancer European Consortium (ITCC).
